Susan was the one who introduced me to the song, Find Us Faithful! Love the song and can hear her singing it even today.
Also, Brad would answer the telephone with the word “Yellow” instead of hello. Susan would always respond with “Blue”.

Susan was a wonderful addition to the family - she always brought a smile and laughter when she came to family gatherings at Mema's. Tommy, our prayers are for your peace and that your joy will overflow as God shows you how much He cares for you and the girls during this season.
My most deepest and sincere condolences to the Pate family. Susan captivated anyone with her beautiful smile. Though she had not spoken in a while, one day when I played gospel music , she lip synced A gospel song, sung by Elvis Presley “How great Thou Art. That day she broke me.. I thank God for allowing me to care and share with her such a graceful moment. That is my most memorable memory of this beautiful soul!
Time spent with Susan and Tommy was always filled with lots of fun, and so much laughter! I can hear her now telling telling a story and ending with”…Lawwwd….” I just smile thinking of those times. I know the minute she walked through those gates she was welcomed and embraced by those who have gone ahead of us. Heavens gain, for sure. ❤️
