Danny was in our wedding party in 1963.
Always loved going down to Chatham to visit at my cousins house. Have had lots if quiet meetings with Danny over the years.
Always discussed family respect, family love, and family business. February's been a tough month. Losing two of God's children, Anne & Danny has required some deep soul searching. They are probably having coffee and discussing,
what's next? Take care old friend. I love you.
Dan was much more than someone who loved racing. He was, above all, a gentle soul who was concerned about his family, his friends, and his town.
He left everyone who knew him, and even those who did not, much better off because he was here.

Last time we were able to visit Dan Jr. was showing Zach around the shop and Dan came in and just let my boy be a boy. When I told Zach he passed, he said I remember him and "the son Dan" smiling and letting me try out the car jack. We will miss him and hope to see the family sooner than later.
A other loss of the “original” Chathamites! A wonderful man who embellished the institution of the “renaissance “ man. He was so loved and will be missed! Our condolences to the Meservey family.

So many good memories, Danny was always interested in what and how I was doing , I have Known and been friends with Danny since I was a kid, you could tell Danny cared about people, he was genuine, they broke the mold with Danny! I am truly sad for his wonderful family, and brothers!
So miss those dune buggy races with wild bill and barret it was so much fun
