On August 9, 1974, Zuwena Adelicia Victoria Milliard Brown was born in Pittsburg, PA. Zuwena grew up in Brooklyn, New York with her parents Rovan and Shirley Milliard. Her early years were spent growing up in Brooklyn, NY and Miami, Fl. Zuwena accepted the Lord and was baptized by Dr. T. J. Boyd, at Salem Missionary Baptist Church. As an adult, she married Garfield Brown, and they relocated to Lakeland, Fl. On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, Zuwena went home to be with the Lord. Zuwena was preceded by her son, Errol "Elijah" Milliard; her father, Rovan Val Milliard, and her grandmother, Cicilyn Lucille Gooding. Zuwena is survived by her husband, Garfield Brown, her son, Josiah Milliard, her mother Shirley Milliard, and a host of family and friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel in Lakeland.
