Her professionalism, diligence, and warmth were hallmarks of her work.
Central to Yvonne’s life was her cherished family. On May 3, 1970, she married Godfrey P. A woman of deep faith, Yvonne attended Bethel Baptist Church in St. Thomas, USVI, and later found community and friendship at Family Worship Center in Lakeland, FL. Her faith provided a strong foundation for everything she did and inspired her selfless acts of service toward others.
Yvonne cultivated joy in the simple pleasures of life. She possessed a special love for gardening, often finding solace and happiness among her flowers and plants. Her home was always filled with the warmth of hearty family gatherings, the satisfying aroma of her delicious cooking and baking, and laughter around the table.
