Wilma Bonilla, 68, passed away in Lakeland on Thursday, February 8, 2024. Wilma was born in Bronx, New York to parents Valentin and Miguelina Bonilla. She has been a resident of Lakeland for the last 15 years. Wilma was a beautiful and vibrant mother with a heart filled with endless love for her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved family gatherings, music and dancing. Wilma is preceded in death by her parents and sisters Edith Williams and Letty Santiago. She is survived by children Roberto Rivera, Jr. (Felisha), Melinda Ortiz (Michael), and John Michael Luis Rivera (Denisse); siblings Nilda Bonilla, Miriam Vargas (Carmelo), Valentin Bonilla, Jr. (Iris), Rosa Rosa (Jose Antonio "Tony"), Noel Bonilla, Lourdes Lopez (Jose), and Ivette Bonilla; and 8 beloved grandchildren: Brianna, Aliya, Alana, Brian, Amani, Amelia, Aiden, and Lil Lu.

Visitation will be from 11:00AM - 1:00PM, with funeral service to follow at 1:00PM on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel. Following funeral services, Wilma will be laid to rest at Serenity Gardens.
