Wanda True, 73 of Groveland, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Dec 9, 2023 in Orlando. She was born in Leesburg to Gilford and Louise Williams Carter and was a lifelong resident of the Groveland area. She was employed with the Lake County School Board as a data entry clerk for 35 years and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilford and Louise Carter, Husband Rev. Lee True, daughter Jamie Clark Haseleu, Brother's Emmitt, Gilbert and Dean Carter and grandson Jamey Robert Haseleu. She is survived by her companion Fred Sharpe, her children Kim (Robin) Potter of Groveland, Lynn (David) Kent of Ormond-by-the Sea, FL, Jeff (Wendy) Clark of Groveland and Leah Kay True of Groveland. 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time at 11:00 am at Inspired Life Ministries, 1568 Downing Street, Groveland, 34736. She will be laid to rest with her husband and daughter at Mascotte Cemetery.
