Walter was a proud member of the BPOE Elks. He loved Red Sox baseball, hearing the latest joke and telling you in great detail why the way you were doing things was the wrong way. He was always surprised to find out other people did not make a regular habit of smoking in the shower. He was happiest when a Boston sports team won a championship, he shot the moon during a hand of Hearts or a child said, “I love you, Boom Pa.” It is widely believed he died with no regrets.
A viewing will be held at Gentry Morrison Serenity Gardens at 3350 Mall Hill Drive in Lakeland, FL at 10 am on Monday, November 25 followed directly by a service at 11.
