Lakeland – Virginia Stidham, 91, passed away Dec. 18, 2017.

Mrs. Stidham was born in Polk County on Nov. 21, 1926, and remained a lifelong resident of the area. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking, gardening and fishing. She attended Trinity Life Church of God for many years.

Mrs. Stidham was preceded in death by her husband, Wade K. Stidham; children, Ronald Stidham and Carolyn Stidham. She is survived by her son, Vincent Stidham; grandchildren, Karen, Shane, Sierra and Wade; 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thurs. from 6-8 pm at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Rd. Lakeland. Graveside services will be conducted Fri. at 2 pm at Oak Hill Burial Park.
