Virginia E. Nance, 81 of Lakeland passed away on May 11, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Charles Thomas Edwards and Alma Louise Thames Edwards. A lifelong resident of Lakeland and retired receptionist at Watson Clinic.

Virginia was a Bingo Shark and Jigsaw Wizard. She loved both games and was a force to be reckoned with in each. Although, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her source of pride and brought true joy to her life.

Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Terry E. Nance; brothers, Jack Edwards and Charles Edwards; sisters, Louise Blase and Mary Mathis. She is lovingly survived by her children, Terry E. Nance, Jr., Tracy E Kimble, Thomas E. Nance, Tiffany E. Nance, and Toby E Nance; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, brothers, James Edwards, and Robert Edwards; and sister, Margaret Goodner.

A visitation will take place on Friday, May 29 from 5-7pm. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, May 30. Both at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road, Lakeland, FL 33801.
