Mike Warnock

January 4, 1951 – October 9, 2026

Mike Warnock, born January 4, 1951, in Lakeland, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on October 9, 2026, at the age of 75.

Mike was the son of Carl and Bette Warnock, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, Michael Warnock; daughter, Sheri Floyd (Teddy); granddaughter, Layla Warnock, daughter of Michael; brother, Chuck Warnock (Donna); and sister, Shawnee Williams (Bob).

During his childhood, Mike moved with his family to Fort Myers Beach, Florida, where he grew up and attended Cypress Lake High School. On January 31, 1969, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, proudly serving his country.

Mike had a lifelong love of fishing, music, and the arts. A naturally gifted and creative individual, he enjoyed working with his hands and expressing his artistic talents through woodworking, leather crafting, and painting. His passion for craftsmanship even led him to own a leather craft and saddle shop, where he could share his creativity and skills with others.

Whether spending time fishing, listening to music, or working on his latest creative project, Mike found enjoyment in the simple pleasures of life. His artistic spirit, creativity, and appreciation for the things he loved were defining parts of who he was.

Mike will be lovingly remembered by his family and all those who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on through the lives he touched and the many things he created along the way.

May he rest in eternal peace in the presence of the Lord.
