Talma G. Deal was born on 4/27/1923 as one of ten children to Lessie and Dalton Gunter at Bradley Junction, FL. She married Reverend James Deal on 11/22/1940. Together, they had five children: four boys, Jerry, Alton, Lloyd, Darrell, and one daughter, Teresa Curby. She is survived by her five children, all of Lakeland, and one sister, Eunice Powell, also of Lakeland, 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Talma spent her entire life as a pastor's wife and homemaker.
