My heart sinks. Stephanie was a bright light, a shining star, a smiling face. She lifted everyone up! My deepest sympathy to Greg and Mallory. Heaven is much brighter now.
My condolences to Stephanie’s family and her many many friends. I was fortunate to work with her for several years through her ACS work at the Tampa VA. Her positivity and energy was an inspiration to all. I witnessed a number of times when she manage to turn lemons into lemonade, a quote she reminded me all to often. The world will be less bright without her but there is a star up above shining brighter.

Stephanie was one of the first colleagues I met in 2012, and since, has been so much more than a respected partner. Stephanie’s magnetic personality was one that lifted anyone on any day. And her action-oriented approach to life was contagious. I am in constant awe of how she kept a finger on the pulse of so many things, and I cherish our conversations which inevitably sparked “Wendy, I have an idea.” Up for any challenge and a pillar of knowledge, Stephanie shared graciously and taught daily. Leading with kindness, love for her community and others, we are forever better by having Stephanie in our life.
Sending much love and prayers for healing strength,
Wendy Johnson
