Shirley L. Cox, 82, of Lakeland passed away on December 20, 2017. Shirley was born October 26, 1935 to Donald and Virginia Easton in Staunton, VA. Shirley enjoyed working in retail however her true passion was spending time with her family and attending Victory Church.

Shirley is survived by husband of 61 years Daniel M. Cox, daughter Karen George and husband Michael, granddaughter Brittany, brother Carl and his wife Eleanor, and sisters: Helen Stanford, Dolores Kicklighter, Georgia Anne Moody, and Gloria Jean Moody and her husband Earl, and along with a host of other family and friends.
