LAKELAND- Sherrie Ann Blackburn 58 of Lakeland Passed away on June 4, 2016. She was proceeded in death by her father Irvin McLin. Sherrie is survived by her mother Mary McLin, estranged husband Herman Blackburn Sr., Children Herman "littleman" Blackburn Jr. (Jackie Blackburn); Maria Veal (Robert Perez); Sonja Stringert (Zaverory Stringert). She is also survived by an extended family. Her sisters Wanda Tacks (Dennis Tacks); Linda Bice (Russel Bice) and brother Eddie McLin. Numerous Grandchildren Lane Veal; Dakoa Veal; Cody Veal; Ashton Stringert; Anthany Stringert; Bryson Stringert; Chad Harrison; Eric Jones; Trinity Jones and Great Grandchild Ryder Sparks. Eight (8) Nieces and Nephews; six (6) Great nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Thursday June 9, 2016 from 6-8pm at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home Southside Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 11am at the funeral home. A Graveside Service will follow immediately after the service at Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland. In Lieu of flowers we are asking for donations to help with burial expenses.
