Sharon Elaine Williamson, 76, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024. She was born in Rupert, West Virginia to parents Clifford Earl and Florence Madeleine (Moses) Mason n on June 11, 1948. On May 7, 1971, Sharon married the love of her life, Darrell. The couple moved to Maryland shortly after marriage, and Sharon worked for the school board as a teacher for many years. After retirement, Darrell and Sharon moved to Florida and happily resided in Lakeland for the past 20+ years. Darrell passed away the previous year in May 2023, and friends and family are comforted in knowing that Sharon is reunited with her beloved husband of 53 years and now together with our Lord. Sharon is also preceded in death by her parents and sister, Margaret Mason. She is survived by sister-in-law Phyllis and cousin Sandy, as well as numerous friends and neighbors who loved her dearly. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel 3350 Mall Hill Drive.
