Sharon Gail Motes Lennon Kirkland passed away on February 26, 2021. Sharon was born on December 17, 1946 to parents David and Mary Motes. Sharon is survived by her husband Richard "Jay" Lennon; their 28th wedding anniversary would have been on March 20, 2021. She also leaves behind her mother, Mary Lou Motes, of Lakeland. Sharon had a career as a licensed clinical social worker. She had a Master of Arts from Florida Presbyterian College, a Master of Arts in Education from Wake Forest University, and a Master of Social Work from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She also had licenses from EMDR, Imago, and Spiritual Direction. She played the organ and the piano, and was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Sharon always helped and put other before herself. My beloved Sharon, I cannot say enough about her.
