SARA H. MARTIN, 86 LAKELAND Sara Hardwick Martin, 86, passed away on May 13, 2014. Sara was born September 10, 1927 in Louisburg, NC. Sara's most proud achievement was raising her two children, Glenn and Glenda in North Miami Beach, Fl, worshiping at Fulford United Methodist Church. She was an avid gardener and loved doing crafts. She was also a huge Miami Dolphin football fan. After moving to Tamarac, FL, she enjoyed playing bridge with her friends and going on many Red Hat escapades. Her most recent pleasure came in watching and spending time with her great grandson, Bryce. She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Christian (Bob); son, Glenn Martin (Paula); granddaughter, Tammy (Kyle) and great grandson Bryce; brother, Dayton Hardwick (Catherine); nephew, John Hardwick; niece Elizabeth and nephews Bob and John Ritter. She was predeceased by her parents, Dayton and Vera Hardwick and her sister, Betty Marie Denmark. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Reformation Lutheran Church. Memorial service will be held at Reformation Lutheran Church, 460 Old Polk City Road, Lakeland, Fl on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 11:00am.
