Sandra L. Boyette Gmytruk Whitney, 74 of Plant City. Sandy passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 27, 1948 in Ft. Myers, Florida to the late Kennon Boyette and Margie Read Boyette Johnson. She is survived by her son Kenneth (Kim) Gmytruk, her daughter Melissa (Mike) Hape and bonus sons Steve (Amy) Adams and Scott (Rebecca) Conner. Grandchildren Brittany (Mike), Jayson (David), Morgan (Edgar), Andrew, Jarrett (Abbie), Mike, Jessica, Hunter (Shay) and great grandchildren Hayden, Peyton, Leila, Vicente, Heidi, Hanah and Bryar. She is also survived by her loving Aunt Patricia Read Mauldin, her brother Bruce (Deborah) Boyette, sister Pamela Conner, brother Richard Boyette and stepsister Sandy Johnson Murphy. As well as many loving nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Sandy attended and graduated from Kathleen High School in Lakeland, Florida with the class of 1966. She worked and retired with 32 years from the Hillsborough County Health and Social Services Department where she made many lifelong friends that she counted as family. She enjoyed spending time between her Plant City home and Keaton Beach camp making memories with all her family and friends. She also devoted her time and love to her precious puppies, Freckles and Chipper. She was an amazing woman who loved with her whole heart and never met a stranger. She will truly be missed by all.

Family will receive friends from 10:30AM-11:00AM, with a memorial service to immediately follow at 11:00AM, on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel, 3350 Mall Hill Drive.
