Obituary

Sandi Davis, born on August 18, 1965, in Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, in Lakeland, Florida. She was a woman whose life was a vibrant tapestry of spontaneity, dedication, and heartfelt connections, warmly remembered by those who knew her as "Grammy."

Sandi was a true explorer at heart, embracing the spirit of adventure with a love for travel that led her to visit all 48 continental states. With Tim as her faithful companion, she ensured that each journey included a stay of at least one night in every state, creating a treasure trove of cherished memories along the way. Her appreciation for life's finer pleasures was evident in her passion as a wine connoisseur, having visited numerous vineyards and savoring the nuances of each tasting experience.

A creative soul and accomplished designer, Sandi lent her artistic eye to the creation of beautiful kitchens, bathrooms, homes, and even uniquely crafted chicken coops. Her attention to detail and profound respect for beauty were reflected in the personal spaces she designed, including her beloved taj-mahal coops where she bred and raised chickens with care and affection. Her admiration for sunflowers spoke to her appreciation of natural beauty and resilience, qualities she embodied in her own life.

Beyond her artistic talents, Sandi loved to look good and always dressed to the nines, carrying herself with a spontaneous and sassy flair that made her presence unmistakable. Her personality was a blend of warmth, confidence, and charm that endeared her to family and friends alike.

Sandi's legacy of love and family is carried forward by her devoted husband, Tim Davis; her daughters, Nikki Hughes (Ricky) and Jessica Wildmon (Stephen); and her stepson, Joshua Davis. She leaves behind a joyful and extended family, including cherished grandchildren Lexi, Jubi, Taylor, Kearstyn, Kaitlyn, Jordan, Cole, Zoey, Ryan, Jude, Chloe, Zera, and Alaric, as well as great-grandchildren Karson, Kayson, Luna, and Keaton. Her memory also honors the lives of her stepchildren, Angel Yates and Amanda Mahoney, who have passed before her.

A funeral service to celebrate Sandi’s life will be held on June 17, 2026, at the Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes - Southside Chapel, located at 1727 Bartow Road in Lakeland, Florida. The service will begin at 12:00 PM, providing all who knew her the opportunity to come together and share their stories and reflections on a life beautifully lived.
