SAMMY LELIA BERGES, 76

LAKELAND - Sammy Lelia Berges, daughter of James Kermit Boleman and Gatha Brady, passed away on June 28, 2014, at her daughters home in Lakeland, Florida, after a year long battle with lung cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her sons Billy and Tommy, sister Sara Townsel, brothers Jack and Paul Boleman, she is survived by her daughter Deborah (Gary) Walker. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, brother Jesse Boleman, sister Sue Glass and several nieces and nephews. Sammy worked at Woodalls Mobile Home Park until her death in 2014. She was also a long distance truck driver, care giver, and florist. She also loved bingo, the casino, and spending time with her great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Memorial Services will be held this Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Willow Oak Baptist Church at 11 am.
