Ruth M. Bonine passed away peacefully on November 3, 2023, at the age of 102. Ruth was born on October 8, 1921, in Vandalia, Michigan to John and Alma (Konneck) Wagner. She was born and spent the majority of her adult life in Michigan where she met her lasting love, Donald Bonine and was married in 1940. They had two sons Donald and John which they raised with care. After the passing of her husband she moved to Lakeland, Florida 30 years ago. Ruth was a devoted Christian, spending much time in worship and praise at Lakes Church. She was a 1939 graduate of Elkhart High School in Elkhart, Indiana and a life member of the Cass Country Conservation Club in Union, Michigan. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents John Wagner, Alma Wagner; and her brother Harold Wagner. Ruth is survived by her sons Donald R. Bonine Jr. (Linda) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and John Bonine(Vikki, deceased) of Lakeland, Florida; two grandchildren; six great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren; and one niece.
