R.P. Kemp, Jr.

Lakeland – R.P. Kemp, Jr., 94, passed away Jan. 14, 2019.

Mr. Kemp was born in Frederick, MD to the late Royal and Minnie Zoe Kemp, Sr. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from H.F. Mason Equipment Corp as a heavy equipment distributor.

Mr. Kemp is survived by his children Chuck and Carl Kemp; grandchildren, Amanda (Michael) Simpson, Shelby (Tim) Gorrell, Cody Kemp, Carla (David) Bibby and Eric Royal (Jamie) Kemp; great-grandchildren, Austin Simpson, Brook Simpson and Sibastian Gorrell.

Funeral services will be Sat. at 2 pm at Gentry Morrison Serenity Gardens Chapel, 3350 Mall Hill Dr. Lakeland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA.
