Rosemary (Brower) Walden passed away on August 14, 2026. She was born on July 29, 1929, in Lakeland, Florida to Sylvester H. and Martha Mills Brower. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, John Gordon Walden, Jr.; her brothers, Sylvester H. Brower, Jr. and Clayton M. Brower; her niece, Patti Hatcher; and sister-in-law, Suzanne Roberson.

Rosemary is survived by her daughter, Pamela W. Pinkley (Robert); grandson, Lieutenant Colonel Retired Steven Todd Geohagan (Maria); 3 great grandchildren, Liam, Mia and Miguel; as well as her nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Lakeland High School in 1947, and worked at Food Machinery, Bartow Air Base and Publix Super Markets Corporate Office as Secretary to Mr. Joe Blanton for 28 years. She retired after 36 years with Publix. She was a member of Medulla Baptist Church.

Viewing will be held at Gentry Morrison Funeral Homes Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road, Lakeland, FL 33801 on Monday, August 24th from 9-10 am. A graveside service will follow at 10:15 am at Oak Hill Burial Park, Lakeland.
