Ronald Murray, of Auburndale, Florida, passed away on September 26, 2026, in Lakeland. He was born on November 25, 1953, in Folkston, Georgia.

Ronald made his home in Florida after moving from Folkston in 1979. He will be remembered as a man who was always happy and smiling, bringing a steady warmth to those around him. He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, and anyone who knew him knew how much he loved to cut the grass! He was also a devoted fan of FSU football and the Tampa Bay Bucs.

He is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Searles, Dorothy Murray, and Linda Owen; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Murray; his mother, Cordie Murray; and his brothers, Kenneth Murray and Edward Murray.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Fuel Church, 7355 US Highway 98, N. Lakeland, FL 33809.

Ronald will be remembered with affection by those who knew and loved him, and his bright, happy presence will be deeply missed.
