LAKELAND - Rodney Galloway, 66, of Lakeland passed away March 2, 2018, surrounded by family. He worked in the ER at Lakeland Regional as a Radiology Technologist where he loved his career and colleagues. His other great loves in life included his wife of 40 years, Barbara, his 3 children, and 8 grandchildren. He was an avid gardener, known for growing the best and most abundant harvests, he loved to hunt and never missed a chance to go fishing. He is survived by his father, Bruce; loving wife, Barbara; daughters, Tara (Tim) and Sara, and son Robert (Candice); sister Ginny (Bill); grandchildren Emma, Trevor, Maci, Delaney, Savannah, Brody, Clayton, and Alexis; and many members of his extended family. He was greeted in heaven by his loving mother Miriam and his brother David. Rodney will be deeply missed by both family and community. Memorial contributions can be made to Lakeland Regional Hollis Cancer Center. A Celebration of Rodney's life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Gentry Morrison Funeral Home 3350 Mall Hill Dr, Lakeland, FL 33810.
