Roberta W. Parker (“Bobbi”), age 78, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away on October 15, 2026. She was born in 1947 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado and as a child traveled the world from Germany to Taiwan before returning to Virginia where she attended high school and nursing college. While in college, she eloped with the love of her life and was married for 68 years. She lived in Lakeland for 54 years, raising two children doting on a grandchild, and spoiling many Bouvier des Flandres.

Bobbi was a registered nurse and entrepreneur. She was a girl boss before the internet coined the phrase. With a zest for life, she skied the alps (and local lakes), braved a water taxi in Venice, dived with sharks, hiked volcanic trails (and the Appalachian trail), drove on the autobahn, shot at the firing range, and fearlessly rang in the Millenium in Las Vegas. She was a band chaperone and horseshow mom.

She lives in the memories of her husband, Leroy Parker III, her daughters Leann Parker and Alischa Parker, her son Andrew Parker, and her grandson Nicholas Parker. Her generosity of spirit, determination, and fierce love will never be forgotten.

A graveside service we be held at Oak Hill Burial Park on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. for her family and friends.
