Mr. Robert H. Walters' Obituary
Robert H. Walters 94 of Lakeland died on Monday, Feb, 25, 2019 in Lakeland. He was born in Zanesville, OH to Homer & Dora (Huston) Walters. Mr. Walters was a graduate of the University of Miami, Oxford, OH and was a proud U S Army veteran having served in WWII. He retired from American Electric Power where he was Director of Land Management, and was a member of the Masonic Amity Lodge and Community Veterans Club and is survived by his wife of 60 years Mary (Burkheimer) Walters of Lakeland, Daughter Susan (Dennis) Dailey of Augusta, GA, granddaughters Danielle Crider, Brittany Johnston and Sierra Lonergan. Four great-grandchildren Elle, Wren, Blake & Charlie. Mr. Walters was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dr. Ed. Walters. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Florida National Cemetery. Bushnell, FL.
