Robert O. Tyner, 83 Realtor LAKELAND-Mr. Robert O. Tyner passed away April 29, 2014 due to complications of dementia. He was born November 24, 1930 in Lakeland to Wade and Lathelia Tyner. Bob graduated from Lakeland High School and received a Bachelors Degree from the University of Florida. After college he served in the Army during the Korean Conflict for two years. After returning from Korea, Bob continued his education at the University of Florida and received a Masters Degree. Mr. Tyner opened several gift stores in Lakeland and became involved in real-estate before retiring. Survivors include his brother, Dalton "Kemp" Tyner; sister, Barbara (Bootsie) Smith; nieces, Rita Hotchkiss and Cissy Turbeville; and 7 nephews. The visitation will be tomorrow (Saturday) from 10-11 AM at the Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens (3350 Mall Hill Drive). Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home chapel.
