Robert Gene Ruppert, age 88 passed away peacefully on March 7, 2024, in Lakeland Florida. He was born in Emmetsburg, Iowa on October 4, 1935, to Clarence & Elsie Ruppert. After high school, he moved to Fort Dodge, IA for work and met his wife & soulmate, Audrey Kleve. They have been married 66 beautiful years and had 3 daughters, Sandy Jo, Sheree Lynn, and Sheila Rae. Robert was drafted into the US Army in 1958 and served 2 years. Thereafter his career was in the freight industry; he drove a truck for 30+ years and then became a Terminal Manager for the balance of his career.

He and his wife had many interests and hobbies including showing horses, fishing, golfing, shuffleboard and dancing.

Robert is survived by his wife Audrey, age 88, his 3 daughters, his 2 brothers Gary and Ed Ruppert; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
