Robert J. Kitchens entered into eternal rest on June 24, 2024. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on January 1, 1937. He was the son of Joseph Clifford Kitchens and Sarah Louise Kitchens. He is survived by Tiffany Kitchens Cook (Kevin) and Richard Todd Kitchens, two outstanding grandsons, Kai and Kaleb Cook, sisters Sara Giffin and Glenda Kilgore of Jacksonville, FL. Bob graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and College of Advanced Traffic and Transportation at Miami-Dade CC North Campus. He proudly served in the United States Army. He retired from the trucking industry as a Freight Broker at Double Eagle Freight Systems. He enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and golf. A celebration of life will be held at Mas Verde Estates Community room, Saturday, July 27th at 3 PM . In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Florida Baptist Home, PO Box 8190, Lakeland, FL 33802-9963. Burial will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
