Robert E. Grant, Jr. (Bob), 59, founder and President of B&G Air Conditioning, Electric and Solar, Inc. of Lakeland, Florida died on Friday, July 3, 2026. He was born on April 26, 1967 in St. Louis Missouri. Bob was known for his integrity and his sharp mind. His life shone with many facets (like that of a diamond, the April birthstone) – his unselfish love for friends and family, loyalty, honesty, generosity, fun, hard work, being a devout Gators fan and enjoying life fully.

Bob is survived by his mother, Glenda Grant Hess and sister, Denise Brown; daughter, Ashley, granddaughter, Abigail; nieces, Deina McKee and Brittany Lesnett; nephew, Brandon Yates; uncles, Dennis Ogden and Mark Ogden; Aunt Mary Caron and many cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 11:00 am, with visitation at 10:00 am at the Victory Church Light of Lights Chapel, 1401 Griffin Road, Lakeland, Florida.

Bob is missed deeply. The family is grateful for your prayers, stories and kindness.
