Richard Lee Hartman, 67 of Lakeland passed away on November 10, 2023. Richard was born to the late Richard and Lila Hartman in Nicholasville, Kentucky.

Richard was a plumber by trade and excelled in his profession for years in the Lakeland area. He loved to fish and had an admiration for motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Hartman; sister, Joann Phelps and sister-in-law, Kay Hartman.

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Hartman; brother, Ricky Hartman; sisters, Sheila Smith, Martha Sue Woodward, Juanita Hartman Wagner; granddaughter, Lydia; special niece, caregiver and helper, Amber Rose Hartman and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service to honor the life of Richard will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends for a visiting hour from 10:00 AM until service time. A committal service will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park, Lakeland.
