Richard William Beuth's Obituary
Richard W. Beuth (79) passed away on Nov. 9, 2022.
Born in New Kensington, PA, in 1942, Richard moved to Lakeland, FL, in 1957 and graduated from Lakeland High School in 1960. Following graduation, he proudly served in the United States Air Force for four years. He was stationed at Topsham Air Force Station, approximately 2 miles from Brunswick, Maine, where he met his wife Pauline, and the two married in 1965.
After moving back to Lakeland, FL, in 1965, Richard began his career with the United States Postal Service, where he worked for 42 years and served the same route for 32 years. Throughout his life, Richard was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates fan and loved the city of Pittsburgh. He also served on the Villas III Home Owner’s Association for 23 years and was an active member of Resurrection Catholic Church.
Richard is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pauline Beuth; children Lynne Stalnaker (Gary) & Sharon Mort; grandchildren Emily & Benjamin Mort; sister Patricia Stump (Jim), as well as many friends and family.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 22, at 11:00 am at Resurrection Catholic Church (333 Terrace Way, Lakeland, FL 33813). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
