Ralph Barrett, 85, of Lakeland passed away on April 10, 2023.

Ralph was born on March 30, 1938 to parents V.M. Barrett and Mary Neely Barrett. He enlisted in the Tennessee Air Guard at Berry Field in August 1955 and then with the U.S. Air Force in March of 1956. Ralph was a highly decorated Chief Master Sergeant with the Air Force. After retiring from the military in 1986, Ralph began a new career as a Financial Advisor for John Hancock Financial Services in Tampa. FL.

Ralph was predeceased by his parents and his wife Lola Jean Barrett. He is survived by his son Ralph "Todd" Barrett, his daughters: Lisa Dawn Franz, Jeanine Rowena Scheib and Kimberly Ann Barrett. Granddaughters: Brittany Vaughn and Amber Tegtmeier, Grandsons: Tony Scheib, Dustin Barrett, Brandon Elliott, Kyle Pollock, Chris Barrett, Andrew Scheib and Parker Scheib. Great-grandchildren: Dominic Sandoval, Desmond Gesbeck, Scarlett Vaughn, Giavanna Scheib, Finnegan Elliott and his "only sister" Angeline Cothran.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, April 19th at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Thursday, April 20th at 9:30 am.
