Peggy Ann Stanton, 83, passed away at her home in Lakeland on Sunday, May 14, 2023. Peggy was born in Upper Sandusky, Ohio on February 12, 1940 to parents William and Lucille (Day) Frey. Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Stanton and son Bubby Stanton. She is survived by daughters Jackie Brooner, Mary (Scott) Praiswater, Sharon (Bo) Bragg, Judy Kay (Harry) Hardenbrook and Donna Sue Guedes; sons David Stanton, John (Liz) Huebner; sisters Anna Latta and Sandra Smith; 17 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. A memorial service for Peggy will be held at 3:00PM on Thursday, May 25, 2023, with a reception to follow, at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Serenity Gardens Chapel 3350 Mall Hill Dr. in Lakeland. Peggy will be privately laid to rest with her late husband Dallas at Serenity Gardens.
