Patsy "Pam"
Wences
March 2, 1963 – February 3, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patsy "Pam" Wences, a beloved mother, partner, and grandmother. Patsy, who was also often fondly known as Pam, passed away on February 3, 2025, having been born to the late Revis and Lillian Gillard on March 2, 1963.
Remembered for her giving, compassionate, caring, and gentle nature, Patsy's influence touched all those who had the privilege to know her. Her love for others was evident in her everyday actions and her constant encouragement to those around her to show kindness. She was a woman who loved to paint and garden, who believed in the power of empathy and forgiveness, creating a lasting legacy of compassion that will be carried forward by those she loved.
Perhaps the hallmark of Patsy's life was her passion for motherhood. She considered her children her greatest accomplishments, finding joy and purpose in their upbringing. She is survived by her daughters, Misty Medina and Obdulia Wences. Patsy was predeceased by her son, Pablo Wences, and her daughter, Leslie Stone.
Beyond being a mother, Patsy was a long time partner to Terry Seipe and a doting grandmother to her grandchildren — Catarina Stone, Angelina Stone, Emanuel Stone, Silas Wences, Neveah Brown, Luis Medina, Rafael Medina, Gabriel Medina, and Andrea Medina. She delighted in their growth and achievements and loved nothing more than spending time with them.
While Patsy's physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved. Her family and friends will forever remember her kindness, her strength, and the love she had for her family.
In the gentle breeze of a warm summer day, I will remember your smile, As the warm sun peaks on a cool fall day, I will your embrace, With a drop of rain on a tin roof, I will remember your heart, As the cardinal visits to sing her song, I will remember your voice. On each day, I will find a new way to remember your smile, your love, your life. You will never be forgotten because you have left a mark in this universe on the hearts of each person you have touched.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 20th at 10:30 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
