DUKE, Patricia, 85 of Lakeland, died on Sunday, Oct 22, 2023. A lifelong resident of Lakeland, Patricia was an avid animal lover, enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and spent many hours gardening, crafting enjoyed the time she spent at her home. She was employed with the Polk County School System where she proudly worked for over 25 years. She also attended Kathleen Baptist Church. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Walton in 2017, her brother Olini Whitfield, and Granddaughter Leana Bouboudis. She is survived by her children Debbie Miller (Frankie), Janie Bouboudis, Terry Nagy, Cynthia Johnson, and Jason Duke, brother Richard Whitfield (Rose), John Henry Davis, and sister Phyllis Allen Davis, 9 Grandchildren and 12 Great, Grandchildren. A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 11:00 am at Socrum cemetery, 3125 Socrum Loop Rd, Lakeland, where Patricia will be laid to rest with her husband.
