Oleta Hanner Grem 82, born April 6, 1935 in Raleigh, NC went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 11, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Frank and Lucille Hanner and the older sister to Wanda Hanner Thomas. Oleta was married to James E. Grem for nearly 62 years. She was a loving mother of 3 children, Debbie Grem Carpenter - Baulac, Ernie Grem and Angie Grem Pleasants. She adored her family, 6 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 6 great grandchildren and her 7th great grandchild will be born in January 2018. Oleta retired from NCDMV in 1996 after 30 years of employment. She loved flowers, hummingbirds, the beach, fishing and spending time with her family and friends. And she never met an animal that she did not love.

Oleta's memorial service will be held at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 3000 E. Garner Rd., Raleigh, NC, Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. and her graveside service will be held at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC 27603 at 12:30 p.m.
