Nieves Ortiz Lakeland - Nieves Ortiz, 83, passed away June 12, 2023. Nieves was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on October 6, 1939. She is survived by her children, Alicia Lopez and Lillian Ortiz Rodriguez and her spouse Josue Rodriguez; grandchildren, Eddie Lopez, Jr., Tara Rivera Carmona (Alex Carmona), Miguel Lopez (Rico Lopez), Bianca Rodriguez and Joshua Rodriguez; great grandchildren, Issac, Alexis, Jordyn, Sienna and Julian; siblings, Miguel Gonzalez, Lydia E. Gonzalez, Marialina Gonzalez, Hector M. Gonzalez and Noelia Gonzalez. She was preceded in death by brother, Emilio Valcarcel. Visitation will be Monday, June 19th from 9:30 am - 10:30 am at Gentry Morrison Southside Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 10: 30 am at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Oak Hill Burial Park.
