I worked with Mike for many years in his capacity as an officer and later as respected union official. He was an honest hardworking man who did much to negotiate better working conditions, wages and benefits for his Members. Mike and I worked on a variety of difficult issues and were always able to find middle ground that served the greater good of the agency. We became professional friends and our respect for each other was mutual.
