Michael R. Kaniecki, 67, of Lakeland, Fl., beloved husband of Kim Kaniecki, was called to his eternal home on August 4, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Dorothy, his first wife Mildred, and his brother Donald.

He is survived by his four children, Jack (Hannah), Susan (Robert), Michael S. (Heather) and Alexandria; step-daughters, Kelly (Zachary) and Sarah, four grandchildren, Ashley, Samuel, Brendon, and Riley, 4 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Patricia and Karen, along with many nieces and nephews and their children.

Michael's love of vehicles and all things mechanical began as a young boy and followed him his entire life until he transitioned into sales and sales management in the diesel truck industry where he excelled due to his knowledge and way with people. His ability to repair most things electrical, plumbing, or mechanical proved to be a blessing to many who knew him. He was skilled in wood-working and made things his family will treasure for years to come.

Michael was very active at his church, Christ Lutheran in Lakeland where he served his Lord and the congregation for many years, in many ways, including Head Elder. A memorial service will be held there at a later date to be determined.
