Marvin Douglas Fellows, 81, passed away peacefully May 29, 2026.

Mr. Fellows was born in Chili, New York on September 20, 1944. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Following his service, he spent his career in commercial tire sales. Marvin was an avid supporter of Lakeland High School football. In addition to following and watching Lakeland High School football, he also enjoyed traveling and time on the water fishing and boating. He graduated from Lyman High School in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

He is survived by his wife Diane (Farquear) whom he had been together with for over 41 years. He is also survived by his sons, Marvin “Sonny” D. Fellows II and Matthew D. Fellows; stepson, Scott Quattlebaum; sisters, Helen Roxanne Lohmann and Roni (Thomas) Furlough; 6 grandchildren,13 great-grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Richard Fellows, Marilyn Fellows Glidden, Margery "Bobbi" Fellows Jones, Sherry Fellows Keeley and James Fellows.

Graveside services with military honors will be conducted Friday, June 26th at 10 am at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
