Martha Hopson Ready, 92, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024, as a result of cancer. Mrs. Ready was born on July 31, 1931, in Franklin, GA and grew up there. Teaching Sunday school at Harmony Methodist Church in Franklin, GA. She moved to Lakeland and married William James Ready. Mrs. Ready was preceded in death by her husband William James Ready, parents Wiley and Eunice Hopson, brothers Eddie Ralph, Kenneth, Earl and sisters Joyce and Gladys and her son James Micheal Ready. She was survived by her son William Ronald Ready (Carmen), granddaughter Jennifer (Curtis) Wright and two great grandchildren Aidan and Keira Wright. Service may be at a later date.
