The legacy of Marguerite Harvey Pinder "Who can find a virtuous woman?... Her children arise up and call her blessed; …A woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised."

Marguerite Faulkner was born on December 9, 1930, to Harold and Pauline Faulkner in Morganton, North Carolina. August 1948, she eloped with Jack Edward Harvey. (a baseball player from Michigan) They served together on the mission field from 1964 to 1996 until he gained heaven. Marguerite was Mother to Paula married to Don Isely, Jay married to Debbie, Clay married to Teresa, and the "big surprise" David married to Debbie. She was Mimmy to Angela married to Joel Buffington, Amy married to Rodney Kretzer, Donnie married to Becca, Jayson married to Taryn, Ellen Marguerite married to Tim Solt, Justin married to Kristlee, Clayton married to Andrea, Matthew, Ryan married to Faith, Byron, Taryn and Caden. Marguerite was Great Mimmy to Bryson married to Kelsey, Colin (serving as a missionary in Korea); Stephen married to Carrie, Emma Marguerite, Tripp and Scout; Jayce, Beckhem and Kai; Titus, Eden, (soon to arrive Tanner), Arya, Madisyn, Saydie Natalie, (one more on the way); Tucker, and Nolan. Each night Our Mimmy called every one of these names before the Lord. Marguerite married Frank Pinder (from the Bahamas) June of 2003 and finally became a "June bride." They were married until Popsy entered Heaven in 2012. Marguerite / Mother / Mimmy met her precious Savior April 4, 2025, while listening to songs about her prepared home in Heaven. Mimmy often said when hard things came our way, "if everything was good here on earth, we would never long for what is to come." Today we have another sweet and precious reason to long for what is to come … heaven.
