Margery R. Payne, a beloved member of the Lakeland, Florida community since the 1950s, passed away peacefully July 25, 2024. Margery was born in Patterson, New Jersey and moved to Florida in the 1950's. She was an active member of Lake Gibson United Methodist Church and participated in the Eastern Star. She was passionate about pool exercise, crafts, and her church activities.

Margery is survived by her daughter, Tracie Johnson of Plant City, Florida; her son, Victor Hall of Cornelia, Georgia; and her daughter-in-law, Pam Hall, also of Cornelia, Georgia. She is also cherished by her grandchildren: Dalton and Shelly Hall of Gainesville, Georgia; Katie and R.J. Skeen of Cornelia, Georgia; Matthew and Amanda Johnson of Austin, Texas; and Evan and Amanda Johnson of Plant City, Florida. Additionally, she leaves behind her brother, Robert Baierl of South Carolina, and her great-grandchildren; Remi Hall, Josiah and Aubrey Johnson, and Lane and Logan Johnson.

Margery's kindness, devotion to her faith, and dedication to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
