Madeline Carroll Lakeland – Madeline Carroll, 91, passed away July 6, 2017. Mrs. Carroll was born in Onieda, TN on Feb. 7, 1926. She was the Head Teller at the Publix Credit Union for many years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Gibsonia Baptist Church, and enjoyed knitting, crotchet, animals and watching racing. Mrs. Carroll was preceded in death by her husband, Al Carroll; and all of her siblings. She is survived by her sons, Stephen (Pamelia) Carroll and Hollis Carroll; daughter, Gayle (Whitney) Shiver; grandchildren, Christopher (Katharine) Carroll, Ginger (Joe) Pillitteri, Ernest Shiver and Emily (Trae) Beeman; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Sophia Pillitteri, Caleb Carroll, Madlyn "Maddy" Beeman and Marley Beeman. Services were privately conducted on July 10th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to VISTE, 1232 E. Magnolia St. Lakeland, FL 33801.
