Madaline R Hershberger, 93, Lakeland, FL (formally from Somerset, PA) died, January 22, 2016 at home. Born July 16,1922, in Jenner Township, daughter of the late W. Clyde and Florence (Winters) Zimmerman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Cloyd L. Hershberger; son-in-laws, Robert G. Robinson and Jeffrey Pritts; sisters, Maude Powell, Florence Snyder, Alice Blough; and brother Michael Zimmerman. Survived by, daughters', Martha Robinson, Lakeland FL, Ellen (Dan) Rejda, Waco,TX; son, Alan Hershberger, Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Robert D (Jody) Robinson, Steven (Natalie) Pritts and Lindsay Pritts; step grandchildren, Jennifer (Tejae) Race and Danny (Betty) Rejda; great grandchildren, Nick and Alex Robinson; step great grandchildren, Jaxon Race and Hunter Rjeda; sister Peggy (Robert) Blough. Madaline was a former Boswell HS graduate, class of 1940; D.A.R. Life member; thirty plus year retiree of Verizon (GTE) phone co. She was a talented seamstress and avid reader. Memorial services will be held in Somerset, PA at the convenience of the family. The family requests that contributions to your local Hospice organization be made in memory of Madaline.
