Loretta Thompson Williamson, 79, passed away on July 30, 2025, in Marion, North Carolina. She was born on April 16, 1946, to Herman and Edna Polston in Lakeland, Florida.

Loretta is survived by sons Glen Richardson (Barbara) of North Carolina, Earl Thompson (Cindy) of Tennessee and Timothy Thompson (Michelle) of Tennessee and daughter Teresa Thompson (Barry) of Lakeland, Florida. She has 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Loretta was a caretaker for 20 years and loved being around her family. She loved going to church and had a passion for the Lord. She loved to fish and loved to laugh. She also loved listening to gospel music and cooking for her family. She never met a stranger.
