Leonard "Cotton" Day

A lifelong resident of Lakeland, Florida passed away on September 20, 2023, at age of 70. Cotton was a member of the Jack Day Hunting Club in Astor, Florida. He loved fishing, hunting, and spoiling his grandbabies. He will be deeply missed by his son Gator Starling, daughter-in-law Alicia "Breeze" Starling, his brother Alan "Big A" Day and his wife Renee, grandbabies Caden, Kilah, Peyton "Pey Pey" and Liam-Jackson "Little Man", nephew "Super" Nick Day, his wife Shaina, Niccoma and Nala. Preceded in death by his parents Jack and Joyce Day.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 29th at 11 am, Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens, 3350 Mall Hill Drive, Lakeland, Florida 33810. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park, Lakeland.
