No words can express my sadness upon learning of the loss of this loving man, my "little cousin." Time and circumstance distanced me from his beautiful life, but the memories of his quick mind and wit, and his caring nature are always with me, especially the love and kindness he always offered my father after the loss of my mother, and again during my dad's illness. Such a beautiful and good man, husband, father and friend. Such a big and loving heart. Love you, Cuz.
I've known Larry since the mid 70's. Played in a band called Orion with him for a few years. Such a great guy and friend. We've kept in touch throughout the years. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. He always spoke proudly of his kids and family. He will be missed dearly. My deepest sympathies to his friends and family. Love you my brother. John L.
Larry was the ‘Cool” older cousin - a person I always looked up to and wanted to be like. When I was 5, he was the first to introduce me to model rockets. When I was 7, Larry would do those ‘off color’ Ad lib books with my brother Cliff. When I was 13, he would let me hang out with his band Orion at rehearsal. When I was 14, Larry showed my brother, my dad, and me the first laser disc player (playing Queen concerts in his bedroom). When I was in college, Cliff and I would visit his house by the water, where he would play us the newest bands (in Dolby™️ Stereo) and share his ideas on business, entrepreneurship, and sales. Larry was the guy who always had something exciting and fun to share.
His son Joseph summed it up best - whenever Larry spoke, it was funny or wise. (and I often found both;)

Larry and I met at Temple Dor Dorim. Joanne & Larry were quick to invite Phyllis & I to Shabbat dinner. We enjoyed having dinner with the family. Over time Larry and I would talk about many different things; work, family, music and life in general. He was bright, funny and just a great guy. He taught me to take things in stride and I told him “one day at a time”. When I asked him to co-chair the brotherhood at the temple he did not hesitate to say yes. Our first meeting was a big hit as we gave away cookies. See the picture under photos. Larry had challenges in life like we all face. He faced them head on and never looked back. Joanne and Larry raised two amazing children. They mentored them to become two talented amazing young adults. Larry was so proud of both. Listening to him tell me about their college acceptance is a great memory. He was just so excited to call me. He always had a joke or a funny text to send me. I will miss you Larry the parts guy.
Larry was known to us simply as Chief, my mother-in-law and him shared a unique bond besides intelligence. There was a lot of banter and laughter when we all gathered together… I was always amazed how he could handle an event at his home with entertaining, bringing laughter to his guest, a husband a father a friend all doing it carefree. He will be truly missed by our family and we keep his family close to our hearts and in our prayers… The Veitch Family ❤️.
I will never forget Larry. He was a loving husband and father. Although he was funny from time to time, he had alot of depth and intelligence.

Sorry I could not be here today, but I wanted to share my love for Larry. Larry and I were first cousins, my Mother and his Father were sister and brother. I am sure that most of you here will always remember Larry for his quick wit and great sense of humor. When my children Lisa and Kenny were little and had their birthday parties, Larry was the entertainment. He would do an imitation of a fly……a fly, can you imagine? Only our Larry would do that ! The kids would giggle and had the best time! Many times, he was also a clown. His imagination was endless!
When I was attending high school, I was staying with my Aunt Betty and Uncle Joe and I knew that once baby Larry was born , I had to relinquish my room to him. Luckily, the timing was right as I was graduating and moving so I did forgive him and how could I not, once I saw that beautiful baby boy.
I also will always remember when Larry and my husband Vic would make deliveries together for CityTire, Larry’s family owned business. They were Frick ‘n’ Frack and it would have made a wonderful sitcom.
Even though Larry and I lived miles apart, we kept in touch mostly by texting and, as always, he made me laugh with his funny and cheerful jokes and comments.
That was Larry, my dear cousin, I love you and you will always have a special place in my heart!
